Evo, a backend insurance platform developed by Chrysalis Systems, transforms the insurance market. Founded by a team of experienced insurance veterans, Evo aims to eliminate inefficiencies in the industry and boost the bottom line for insurance brokers, MGAs, and insurers. Based in Chelmsford, UK, Evo offers a fully customisable software solution backed by a team of industry specialists.

The Challenge

Chrysalis Systems had spent years developing Evo and were ready to take it to market. However, as a small team with no marketing experience, they needed assistance throughout the launch process and beyond. They had already engaged a web agency to create a website for Evo, but they were unsure about naming and branding the product. Moreover, as a startup, their budget was limited, requiring a strategic approach to maximise their resources.

The Solution

Understanding the level of support required and the budget constraints, The Forge Partnership took on a consultancy role to help Evo with their branding and website needs. We guided them through a comprehensive branding exercise, resulting in the name ‘Evo’ for the product. Additionally, we acted as their representative during the website development, ensuring that the final site met their requirements.

In parallel, The Forge Partnership developed a cohesive brand direction, positioning, and key messages for Evo, defining how they would approach the market and communicate with their audience. A tactical marketing plan was crafted to ensure a strong launch when the website went live. We also assisted in implementing their full digital marketing strategy, covering web, social, and content channels. Our focus included social selling tactics and building the Managing Director’s personal brand and visibility. We unified all marketing communications and engaged directly with key decision makers in target prospect organisations, such as insurance brokers, managing general agents, and insurers.
